Investment firm Bluestones launches legal recruitment agency JV

North West investment business Bluestones Group has expanded its portfolio of companies with the launch of legal recruitment agency Blake Chambers.

The agency, representing a joint venture with legal recruiters Raphael and Reuvan Blake, will aim to add a new dimension to the legal recruitment sector by offering a more personal focus on client and candidate satisfaction.

Blake Chambers is run by brothers Raphael and Reuvan and operates in several areas of law, including employment, commercial litigation, commercial IP and residential conveyancing.

The company will work with law firms across the UK from its offices in Manchester and London.

Group CEO Stuart McBride said of the joint venture: “We’re pleased to welcome Raphael and Reuvan to the Bluestones Investment Group.

“As part of our expansion plans, we want to operate in many key areas of recruitment. It’s important that we invest in recruitment consultants that we believe have the drive and ability to make a company successful.”

He added: “Both Raphael and Reuvan have a wealth of experience in legal recruitment and we’re confident that they will make Blake Chambers a leading legal recruitment company.”

Blake Chambers’ managing director, Raphael Blake, commented: “Both Reuvan and I are really pleased to have started our own recruitment agency.

“We have over 30 years’ combined experience in the legal recruitment sector. During this time, we have worked with large international law firms as well as smaller family owned companies.”

He continued: “We’ve looked at the competition in the UK and feel with our experience we can provide a higher level of service to clients and candidates alike.”

Following the launch of the joint venture, Chester-based Bluestones’ portfolio of recruitment partnerships now encompasses more than 35 companies.
