Salford’s alldayPA invests £2m in new brand for micro-businesses
Phone answering service provider alldayPA has invested £2m in the launch of a new pay-as-you-go brand targeting entrepreneurs, startups and freelancers.
The Salford-based company said its new offering, myalldayPA, provides a round-the-clock receptionist service and comes in response to a strong demand from micro-businesses.
alldayPA is hoping the service will offer valuable assistance for smaller enterprises.
Reuben Singh, the firm’s CEO, said: “As a result of the IR35 legislation being implemented at the turn of the century, there was a huge dip in the number of people setting up side-projects, which was a thriving business culture at the time.
“However, I truly believe we’re now witnessing a new wave of ‘coffee shop entrepreneurs’ and an increased desire among professionals to be their own boss.”
He added: “I’m extremely passionate about helping people turn their ideas into reality and I’m confident that myalldayPA can help them to do so.”
myalldayPA is confident the service’s pay-as-you-go nature means it can be used both all the time or just for out-of-hours calls, holiday cover and emergencies.
Reuben continued: “People focusing on growing their businesses can’t be tied to their desk all day in case the phone rings. Any entrepreneur will know you’ve got to get out and about to get your business off the ground.
“What’s more, many of them are still holding down a day job. And if you’re in a meeting, on a flight or just out networking, it’s not always appropriate or possible to be on the phone.
“There seems to be a growing culture of professionals going it alone and having a PA to handle calls frees them up to get on with their to-do lists, while never missing an important enquiry.”
The ultimate aim with myalldayPA, Reuben explained, is to nurture young businesses and help them thrive by taking advantage of all enquiries.
Last year, alldayPA celebrated handling its highest-ever call volume within a 12-month period.
