Liverpool’s District House venue to relaunch this month

Liverpool’s District House is relaunching later this month as a new live music venue and events space.

The Water Street venue has a new team and renewed focus after the hospitality management firm that previously ran it went into liquidation in January.

Karen Jones has been appointed as District House’s general manager, while Liverpool-based promoter Bold Management has been brought in to deliver a new programme of events.

Karen said: “For 2017 we have been busy putting in place a robust programme and a new team to ensure that this stunning venue is operated to the highest standards and we are so very excited about the lineup of events that Bold Management is bringing to the venue.

“All of our events will create the opportunity for our guests to dress up and experience fine dining while being entertained.”

She continued: “We are bringing dinner cabaret right up to date for those of us who like to have a little more from our nights out. This is a high-end offer that you will see in hotels in Ibiza, Dubai and Miami and we think that Liverpool will love it.”

District House’s restaurant has 158 covers and space for 38 guests in its private dining area.

Martin O’Shea, managing director at Bold Management, commented: “Liverpool is so ready for this. District House is a one of a kind venue, and has something very special.

“We are delighted to have been brought in to manage the events programme.”

He added: “District House is perfectly positioned to accommodate a whole variety of events and has that real wow factor only the very best venues can provide.”
