Ripon-based soup company acquired by US food giant
Soup company Yorkshire Provender is set to be acquired by Hain Daniels Group, a subsidiary of US food giant The Hain Celestial Group, Inc.
Following the deal, which is subject to approval from the Competition and Markets Authority, Yorkshire Provender will continue to operate from its base near Ripon.
In 2016, the company recorded revenues of around £6m.
Hain Celestial expects the transaction to be earnings enhancing from the 2018 fiscal year.

Established in 2007, Yorkshire Provender’s soup products are sold across the UK.
