Dutch workspace provider launches in Liverpool’s Ropewalks

Amsterdam-born creative workspace provider Spaces has launched its first Liverpool venue.

Spaces said the hub, which occupies the second and third floors of The Tea Factory in the city’s Ropewalks area, is designed to offer local professionals a contemporary workspace built around the “concept of community and shared ideas”.

Spaces Liverpool houses an open-plan co-working area with over 100 seats along with its offices and meeting rooms for hire.

The company was established in 2006 in the Netherlands and today operates sites in London, Gerrards Cross and Glasgow, as well as overseas centres in the US, Mexico, Australia, Japan and Singapore.

Over the coming months, Spaces plans to open new bases in Teddington, Marlow and elsewhere in the UK.

The firm’s UK chief exec, Richard Morris, said: “Spaces is a creative working environment with a unique entrepreneurial ethos.

“Our workspaces offer an inspiring environment designed to integrate lifestyle into work, and members are encouraged to build their networks and connect.”

He continued: “The world class city of Liverpool has so much to offer for professionals and creative entrepreneurs and Ropewalks, with its eclectic blend of art, music and culture is an area which is bursting with creativity and this makes is the perfect fit for Spaces.”
