FIG announces new appointments following project wins

FIG, the High Peak (Glossop)-based marketing agency has appointed two new client service team members to help manage a stream of branding and website projects. The new recruits have arrived hot on the heels of the company scooping the Chartered Institute of Marketing Northern Awards’ large agency award in November 2016.

Dinah Harrison has joined the agency as a Senior Account Executive to assist with servicing FIG’s Marketing Partner clients as well as delivering web and design projects. Dinah, a talented writer with a Master’s degree in PR, has been hired to work across a range of B2B and B2C clients including RISCO, Phonak, Bradburys and Chafes Hague Lambert. In addition, Business and Sociology graduate Rebecca Read has also joined the agency as a Junior Account executive to further support the busy and growing client services team. Originally coming to FIG on a work placement looking to gain experience of marketing agency life, FIG’s Managing Director Helen Duncan immediately recognised Rebecca’s enthusiasm and passion for the industry and offered her the opportunity to work with FIG full time.

Helen comments: “Rebecca’s enthusiasm for marketing is infectious and all the team are enjoying working with her and watching her skills and confidence grow. I’m thrilled to have both Rebecca and Dinah working with us at FIG and at a time when the agency is buzzing with developing projects, it’s fantastic to have them both on board to support our clients’ marketing requirements.

“Protective packaging company Clingfoil has also recently joined the full service agency’s Marketing Partner programme and has briefed the full-service agency to develop a new brand identity for the Stockport-based company, which produces a range of shrink and sealing products together with pallet wrapping materials and protective packaging materials.

Being hired by Clingfoil has further bolstered FIG’s manufacturing client portfolio, which already includes a number of leading UK companies across the packaging, plastics, transport solutions and food sectors.

RS Propmasters, manufacturers and distributors of replica Star Wars props and armour for avid fans of the epic movie series, has tasked FIG with creating a professional user-friendly website to showcase its exciting product portfolio for the Stockport-based company.

As the only company able to offer genuine screen lineage of the Replica Stormtrooper Armour from ‘A New Hope,’ the RS Propmasters brief is to boost engagement across the website to and increase social followers.

FIG managing director Helen Duncan comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Clingfoil to our Marketing Partner programme which allows us to work closely with businesses to meet their strategic business needs under one roof, whilst offering access to our talented team.

“The RS Propmasters brief was met with excitement by FIG’s graphic design team, many of which are huge Star Wars fans themselves. We’re looking forward to helping the RS Propmasters team in communicating their unique business offer and assisting their efforts to reach more of their target audience.”
