Turnover growth to create nine jobs at Birchall Blackburn Law
Law firm Birchall Blackburn Law plans to take on a raft of new employees this year after seeing its revenues leap 13%.
The company, which has seven offices across the North West, recorded a turnover of more than £16m in the last financial year.
According to Birchall Blackburn Law, the results follow a year of investing in its teams and embracing new technologies.
Now, the firm expects to create nine jobs and offer two training contracts in 2017.
Michael Foxford, senior partner at Birchall Blackburn Law, said: “We’re pleased to be able to report such a positive turnover increase and have everything we need in place to ensure we continue to see an upward trend in the coming years.
“Our results are down to our people and we have increased our investment in our teams across the business. We want to become an employer of choice and are in the midst of a recruitment drive which will give clients even greater access to expertise.”
He continued: “As well as investing in our staff we have also invested in our resources. The legal services landscape is changing and technology has changed the way in which clients seek services and, in many cases, process legal matters.
“Here at Birchall Blackburn Law we’ve used that changing landscape as an opportunity to invest in our resources and embrace this change to enhance our position in the marketplace.”
