Inquesta expands across Pennines with new Leeds office

Inquesta, the forensic accounting and insolvency company, has expanded across the Pennines as part of an “ambitious” strategy to grow its national footprint.

The Radcliffe-headquartered firm signed up for space at Princes Exchange, a seven-storey office block in the centre of Leeds.

Launching the Yorkshire operation with Tim Keeling in the role of director in its forensic division and Martin Willock as senior manager in its insolvency arm, Inquesta now expects to recruit a team of support staff and fee earners over the coming months.

Tim, a forensic accountant with a focus on defendant work in cases involving white collar crime, tax fraud and money laundering, was previously a director at Leeds-based Forths Forensic Accountants.

Martin has brought almost 20 years’ insolvency sector experience to Inquesta, having previously worked at accountancy firms including Grant Thornton, Baker Tilly and Cowgill Holloway.

Rob Miller, director and co-founder of Inquesta, said: “We have seen increased demand for our services in Yorkshire and it makes sense to establish a presence in Leeds.

“Tim and Martin are extremely well-connected in the Yorkshire market and beyond, and are great additions to our team as we grow the practice with this new office.”

He continued: “It marks the first stage of our ambitious strategy to become a national firm and we will certainly be looking to expand the Leeds operation as part of our growth plans.

“Alongside our existing services, we aim to increase the range of niche services we offer, including corporate finance and specialist tax investigations.”

Inquesta is currently expanding its Greater Manchester HQ with a £200k investment that will double the size of its workforce there to 24.
