Sloane Stanley to welcome pair of boutique London brands to King's Road
A homemade sleepwear brand and an online Latin American fashion retailer are to descend on the King’s Road this month after the Sloane Stanley Estate sealed deals for a pair of boutique retailers.
The first to open on 15 March will be A Luxe Story, which is to set up shop at the dedicated pop-up space, The Concept Store, at 340 King’s Road.
Created by Eight Hour Studio, the pop-up shop has teamed up with London brand Ille de Cocos to stock a range of luxury sleepwear, along with loungewear and beachwear, with materials sourced from fair-trade suppliers and colours free from AZO dyes.
Later in the month, fashion brand Blaiz will open a new 2,485 sq ft boutique on 29 March at 227 King’s Road, stocking a range of Latin American fashion along with an attached acai and juice bar, which will be open until July.
Ahead of its opening, Blaiz Founder, Stephanie Margaronis Mordehachvili, commented: “Our new store is the perfect location to connect with Chelsea shoppers and residents, and share our love for beautiful Latin American clothing.
“Our pieces are sold all over the world via our online shop, and will now be available at our exclusive store. Furthermore, our debut acai and juice bar offer will make Blaiz the perfect place to relax and take a break from shopping, ensuring our customers have the complete Blaiz experience.”
Hannah Grievson, Commercial Property Manager at Sloane Stanley added: “Blaiz and Eight Hour Studio are brands synonymous with quality and beautiful designs making them an ideal match for King’s Road shoppers. Blaiz already boasts a loyal fashion following from their online store, showroom and previous London pop-ups, and will further add to the international feel of the area.
“Eight Hour Studio embraces excellent craftsmanship and unique pieces, making it an exciting addition to the King’s Road’s premium retail mix.
“The arrival of both brands demonstrate the Estate’s commitment to supporting niche retailers who offer something a little bit special, and we look forward to hosting these exciting designers and entrepreneurs within our distinct and vibrant destination.”
