Monton restaurant Vintage Ambiance to expand with five-figure funding
The husband and wife team behind a restaurant in Greater Manchester have secured a five-figure funding package to expand their business.
Dan Borza and Lauren McBorza, co-owners of Monton-based Vintage Ambiance, established the tea room and kitchen in May 2015.
The funding boost, provided by NatWest, will enable the duo to fully refurbish the restaurant and grow the venue’s indoor capacity from 34 to 56 seats.
Additionally, Dan and Lauren plan to create a new outdoor terrace area and extend Vintage Ambiance’s trading hours into the evening, allowing them to keep up with customer demand.
Dan has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, during which time he created menus and trained staff for a number of restaurants in Manchester.
The couple were supported by NatWest relationship managers Fadi Fattahi and Ben Juniper, who secured a tailored funding package that met Vintage Ambiance’s expansion plans.
Dan said: “My wife and I are extremely grateful for the support received from NatWest.
“The funding enabled us to completely transform our business, introducing a new corporate image and increasing capacity to meet the demand of the extended opening hours.”
He added: “It also meant we could recruit new staff, creating more jobs within the local community. We’re eager to see what lies ahead for Vintage Ambiance.”
Fadi Fattahi commented: “It’s an exciting time for Vintage Ambiance and it has been a privilege to see the business develop from the early start-up stage.
“I wish Dan and Lauren every success for the future.”
