Coffee shop brand Boki to launch 1,300 sq ft West End venue

Coffee shop company Boki is coming to Seven Dials.

The company has this week (March 13) revealed plans to launch a 1,300 sq ft venue at 20 Earlham Street.

The Boki brand was established in 2014 by entrepreneurial duo Kim Mahony Hargreaves and Boris Becker, who used their experience in hospitality and business management to bring their ideas to fruition.

Having opened their first café in 2015, the pair said their newest site will serve as an all-day social hub to capitalise on the high footfall of shoppers and theatre goers.

The Boki at Seven Dials will be designed by Moscow architects MEL Space.

Kim Mahony Hargreaves said: “We are delighted to be launching our concept at such a prestigious London location.

“We have a long love for Seven Dials having met while working in the film industry in Soho 12 years ago.”

He added: “Situated amongst other excellent cafés and food destinations, this will be the ideal venue to launch.”

The deal with Boki follows on from the recent opening of tea maker My Cup of Tea, which now occupies a 1,400 sq ft shop at 27 Shorts Gardens.

Addy Williams, retail leasing and strategy surveyor at property investment firm Shaftesbury, commented: “Boki will add another eye-catching new café with a really attractive design concept.

“My Cup of Tea has already been trading well and attracting visitors who are curious to see their unique offer.”

He continued: “Both brands provide visitors with a haven to relax and drink in the atmosphere whilst at Seven Dials in the heart of the West End.”
