Work complete on 'luxurious' Higher Heath scheme in Cheshire
Work on a multi-million-pound residential scheme in Cheshire is now complete.
The 11-home Higher Heath development in Cranage has already seen more than half of its properties snapped up by investors.
Designed by Altrincham firm Calderpeel Architects for developer Merepark Homes, the scheme comprises a mix of eight four- and five-bedroom detached units along with three two-bed terraced houses.
Each of the three-storey detached homes includes a kitchen, garage, garden and off-road parking.
The courtyard-style development is located on Knutsford Road, having transformed a 1.6-acre brownfield site once used as a haulage depot.
Calderpeel architect James Mellor said: “The new homes in Cranage boast a luxurious standard using high quality fixtures and fittings internally to appeal to Cheshire house hunters.
“The exterior fabric of the houses have been designed sensitively to fit in with the character of properties in the local area using a farmhouse cottage style and traditional Furness Brick.”
He added: “Six of the eleven homes have already sold, proving that this type of high specification property is attractive to buyers in this area of Cheshire.”
Higher Heath is surrounded by Cheshire farmland, around half a mile to the north of Holmes Chapel.
Merepark Homes sales director Jon Wylson commented: “Calderpeel Architects delivered an exceptional planning approval which has been very well received.
“Merepark is pleased with the sales so far with a further property under offer with the purchaser benefitting from the Government Help to Buy Scheme.”
