One brings Austria to UK
Integrated communications agency, One, has helped furniture fittings specialist, Blum, showcase its Austrian operation to the UK with an innovative and interactive attraction.
‘The Blum Experience’, situated at its UK headquarters in Milton Keynes, is a mix of history, current market trends, workshops and presentation spaces and is full-on sensory, featuring virtual reality, holographic presentations, AV, smells and textures.
Blum, founded in 1952 and established in the UK in 1987, regularly hosts customers and suppliers at its Vorarlberg headquarters to immerse them in the full brand experience, and Blum wanted to create a destination to do that here in the UK.
Following a competitive pitch, One worked with Blum’s marketing team and architects, Think Architecture & Design, to develop the state-of-the-art experience and tactics to bring the project to life.
One’s in-house creative studio designed the logo and branding, as well as a suite of graphics, signage and video content.
Speaking of the project, Will English, client services director at One, said: “We’ve a wealth of experience in the KBB sector and Blum has a great reputation.
“This project was a great opportunity to flex our creative muscles and adopt a number of tactics to establish a fully immersive destination for Blum in the UK.”
David Sanders, sales and marketing director at Blum UK, said: “One is well schooled in our industry and seemed like the perfect partner to work with for this project.
“Their response to our brief blew us away and their vision for bringing our idea to life was incredible.” With capacity to host 12 people at any one time, the Blum Experience Centre spans 11,500 sq ft and is based around the principles of yesterday, today and tomorrow.
One is an integrated agency delivering advertising, design, digital, PR and social services to a wide range of B2B and B2C clients including Hoover, Taylor Wimpey, United Utilities and York Racecourse.
