Manchester-based cloud services firm ANS Group hits £33.7m turnover
ANS Group, the cloud and managed services provider, is celebrating after achieving half-year revenue growth of 40%
In the six months to September 2016, the Manchester-headquartered firm’s turnover hit £33.7m, up from £24.1m during the same period in 2015.
The firm’s adjusted EBITDA, meanwhile, leapt by 45% to £5.3m.
ANS reported particularly high levels of growth in its managed services division as it continues to see a shift to contracted recurring revenues.
The company has attributed the figures to a “significant” number of new contract wins that saw it its client base expand in several industries, including increases in its public sector account portfolio.
Paul Shannon, chief exec of ANS, said: “Over the last year we’ve focused on developing our product offering and managed services portfolio and our success in these areas is reflected in our results and margins.
“ANS has evolved into an end-to-end cloud and managed services company. We are currently experiencing significant demand from fast-growth, disruptive technology businesses for both our public and private cloud platforms, as well as our networking capabilities, and we are on track to achieve our targets for the year end.”
He continued: “We’re pleased to say that as the company has grown, so has our team. We remain committed to addressing the skills gap in the tech sector by investing in talented people, and this has been validated by coming seventh on The Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For list, as voted for by staff.
“Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our team and suite of solutions, ensuring that we provide customers with flexible, state-of-the-art managed networks and cloud platforms upon which they can develop and grow.”
