The Home Company expands onto new first floor
The Home Company, Skipton’s long established furniture and furnishings store, is expanding its showrooms to include a brand new first floor.
The lifestyle store’s existing 4000 sq ft showrooms, presently on the ground floor of High Corn Mill, will expand by 20% - when the new first floor showroom opens in May.
Initially, the new area will showcase the ex-display and clearance stock. It will then feature the store’s extensive range of stylish bedroom furniture and the very latest furnishings and gifts.
An open event is being planned to celebrate the completion of the new showrooms to thank existing customers for their continued support and to welcome new ones into the store. There will be refreshments and an exciting competition. Look out for more details on the website www.thehomeco.net and on Twitter @SkiptonHomeCo and Facebook @TheHomeCompanyfurniture soon.
Linda Lee the lifestyle store’s manager, said: “When the new first floor opens we will be inviting customers in to grab a bargain from the ex-display and clearance stock. After that it will become a showcase for the store’s bedroom furniture and furnishings.
“The first floor will also allow us to display even more ranges on our ground floor, so customers can see how separate pieces can be mixed and matched and how different colours, textures and materials can work together.”
A highlight of the store’s ground floor showrooms is the dedicated Stressless studio which, along with the Himolla collection, is reputed to be the most comfortable furniture in the world and a ‘must see’. Also featured is the Dales collection, a range of sofas and chairs combining style, comfort, quality and value for money. The extensive collection of accessories and gifts for the home includes a range of Newgate Clocks.
Customers can now also buy selected products online with free shipping on all online orders over £50 through The Home Company’s website at www.thehomeco.net
