Employee scheduling software utilised by O2 enjoys rapid Q1 growth
London-headquartered RotaGeek, which has developed intelligent employee scheduling software, has enjoyed 530% growth in the number of end-users in the first quarter of this year, underlined by an expansion in its headcount.
The company, which already works with the likes of O2 to help schedule employee shift patterns and rotas, has said that four-fold growth in 2016 was complemented by a double of its team in the last 12 months.
RotaGeek is headquartered in London, where it was founded in 2009, but also has offices in Melbourne, Australia.
Co-Founder and Chief Executive, Chris McCullough, believes the firm is well placed to capitalise on the death of the ‘normal’ 9 to 5 working day, with its data-driven platform supporting companies who wish to provide more flexible working arrangements.
He commented: “The trend to provide more realistic and accommodating working hours is on the rise and justifiably so. Happier employees are more motivated and productive.
“This is why scheduling is important and we’re proud to be helping some of the UK’s most well-known organisations improve employee satisfaction and save millions of pounds every year. 2017 is set to be an even stronger year for us, which is very exciting.”
Starting life as a tool for the healthcare industry after McCullough spent eight years working as a doctor, the platform is now utilised by clients across a range of industries including retail, healthcare and hospitality.
The business has also been backed by accelerator network Wayra to the tune of $1.1m which included a £557k seed round back in 2015.
