Monarch to increase Manchester Airport services this winter with 135,000 additional seats

Airline and holiday firm Monarch is giving its Manchester services a boost later this year.

For its Winter 2017/18 schedule, the company has revealed plans to add a further 135k seats from Manchester Airport.

Monarch flights taking North West holidaymakers to ski resorts in Turin, Innsbruck and Grenoble went on sale today, while more flights have been added for popular city break and winter sun destinations across the the Canaries and mainland Spain.

Additionally, the carrier will extend its flying programme between Manchester and Kittila in Finland, with scheduled flights available in January and February.

The head of network development at Monarch, Marjan Schoeke, said: “We are pleased to be putting the majority of our ski flights on sale, as well as providing more choice to our most popular winter destinations.

“In total another 135k seats are now available for Winter 2017/18.”

Marjan added: “Customers now have a wide choice of popular ski, winter sun and city break destinations to choose from when booking their holidays.”

Monarch said it will add the remainder of the Winter 2017/18 schedule soon.
