North West firms ranked among Europe’s 100 fastest growing businesses
A handful of companies operating in the North West have been named among Europe’s fastest growing businesses.
Published this morning (April 7) by the Financial Times, the 1,000-strong list ranks the companies in Europe that achieved the highest percentage of revenue growth from 2012 to 2015.
Four regional firms, representing the support services, ecommerce, fintech and leisure sectors, were featured in the top 100 of the ranking.
Falcon Green Personnel, which has offices in London, Birmingham and Manchester, came in 9th place.
The company provides recruitment services for organisations operating in property, construction, civil engineering, security and other sectors.
At number 39 on the list is Innox Trading, an online pharmacy based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, and owned by pharmacists Shamir Patel and James O’Loan. Innox Trading is the company behind the Chemist-4-U brand.
Epos Now, a cloud services provider with an office in Manchester, was ranked 46th.
Since its launch in 2011, the US-headquartered firm said it has helped more than 30k companies worldwide achieve growth.
Cruise agency and leisure travel company World Travel Holdings is the fourth North West company to feature in the top 100 of the FT1000.
The firm has an office in Chorley, Lancashire, and encompasses a collection of over 40 travel industry brands, with services covering cruises, villas, hotels and destination resorts.
Elsewhere, North West recruitment firm Sellick Partnership achieved a position in the ranking, coming in 956th.
The firm’s MD, Jo Sellick, commented: “I am thrilled that we have placed on the first ever FT 1000 list alongside so many great organisations from across Europe.
“We have had a strong period of growth and to be amongst only a handful of UK recruitment firms featured is a real honour.”
