Manchester tech startup In Touch Networks becomes Northern Powerhouse partner
North West tech startup In Touch Networks has become a partner in the Northern Powerhouse agreement.
The Northern Powerhouse partnership programme is a business network set up to realise the economic potential of the region by supporting the government’s vision of a Northern Powerhouse.
In Touch Networks, which is headquartered in Manchester, said it partnered with the organisation to demonstrate a commitment to innovation, investment, skills and the creation of jobs in the North of England.
Matthew Roberts, the company’s CEO, said: “Working together with other industries and government is absolutely vital in supporting the economic prosperity of the North.
“Being part of such a prestigious partnership will allow us the chance to engage with other organisations so we can use our voice to help shape and support the future for all businesses in the Northern Powerhouse region.”
In Touch Networks was named the fastest growing technology business in the North West by professional services giant Deloitte, having trebled its staff count from 35 to over 100 in the last 12 months.
Speaking further, Matthew commented: “In Touch Networks is disrupting the market when it comes to recruitment, through our use of market-leading technology platforms.
“We leverage technology to improve the recruitment process of senior execs such as non-executive directors, finance directors and consultants and freelance professionals, helping organisations to recruit the very best in business leaders in a cost-effective way.”
The firm sees further growth opportunities in the US, where it has an office in New York and another opening in Charlotte, North Carolina, this August.
Matthew added: “We are excited about the future at In Touch Networks and being part of the Northern Powerhouse partnership will only help us to collaborate further for the benefit of others in the region.”
Earlier this month, the company announced the launch of its latest venture, BusinessTransformation.com.
