Manchester City sign Eaton on multi-year deal
Manchester City have today (May 4) announced the signing of a new partnership with power management company Eaton.
The club said the multi-year agreement, which makes Eaton their official home energy storage partner in the UK, will build on their commitment to lead the way in sustainability.
As part of the deal, Eaton will use its 100-plus years of industry experience to advise City on best practice in energy storage.
MCFC hope the move will help them enhance their efforts across the Etihad Stadium and City Football Academy.
Damian Willoughby, senior vice president of partnerships at City Football Group, which owns MCFC, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Eaton as this relationship exemplifies the Club’s ongoing commitment to sustainability.
“Eaton shares City’s values of operating in a way that promotes a positive impact on our community and environment.”
Commenting on the agreement, Eaton’s vice president for the EMEA region, Cyrille Brisson, said: “At Eaton, we make what matters work. Aside from making power safe and reliable, it also needs to be sustainable to improve our overall quality of life and contribute to a better environment.
“Energy storage is a key part of that strategy and part of Eaton’s ongoing commitment to reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.”
Cyrille added: “We’re proud to partner with Manchester City – a club that also supports our vision of a greener tomorrow.”
