North East energy broker enters the Dutch Market
North East based energy broker The Green Energy Advice Bureau has launched its services in the Netherlands, offering a wide range of energy solutions to businesses.
The Green Energy Advice Bureau, which operates from its head office at One Trinity Green, South Shields, has identified a gap in the Dutch energy market and has expanded its already growing team to meet demand.
The company has put in place a dedicated team of 5 Dutch speakers, creating new jobs to service their new client base in the Netherlands, offering professional bespoke energy advice and competitive energy rates.
The senior management team at The Green Energy Advice Bureau thoroughly researched the Dutch energy market and found that the company is able to use their bulk purchasing power to help drive down unit rates and also provide clients with specialist advice on improving the way businesses manage their energy and thus make significant savings.
Hugo de Jong, Netherlands country manager at The Green Energy Advice Bureau, said: “We are dedicated to supporting our new Dutch clients with specialist advice on available renewable energy options and efficient energy management methods to reduce their consumption. This in turn increases savings over a period of time.
“We’re thrilled to be launching this dedicated offer - it’s an exciting time for the business and we’ve got a great new team of highly skilled colleagues to meet the expected demand.
“Whilst energy unit rates in the Netherlands are fairly fixed at the moment, we are able to use our bulk buying power to help drive down unit rates and also provide specialist tailored advice on energy management to offer huge savings for businesses in reduced energy consumption.”
The company estimates that their Dutch client base will grow to 250 businesses in the first year across a wide range of sectors.
Paul Cobb, director at The Green Energy Advice Bureau, added: “We are committed to growing our business here in the North East and we’ve had a successful year so far. I’m delighted that we are able to expand our services to businesses in the Netherlands from our head office in the North East.”
Established in 2014, the company is a regional success story with sales estimated to be £3 million. The Green Energy Advice Bureau is dedicated to limiting a business’ environmental impact here in the UK and in the Netherlands, as well as offering expert advice with excellent customer service and competitive prices.
The broker provides energy and water procurement, sustainability and energy management and guidance on compliance legislation.
