Blacks Solicitors expands its Corporate and Commercial team with two new starters

Leeds-based law firm Blacks Solicitors LLP continues to grow with the appointment of two new starters.

The Corporate and Commercial team has been bolstered with the arrival of Pete Konieczko-Hansom and Tate Chakrabarty. With nine years’ experience as a qualified solicitor, Pete has worked in a variety of legal areas including Commercial Litigation, Employment and Intellectual Property before focusing on Corporate and Commercial. Pete specialises in all types of Corporate and Commercial work including asset and share purchases or sales, commercial contracts and shareholder agreements.

Tate joins the company from a previous role as European Counsel for the E.N Project and Engineering Industries and specialises in Commercial law, with a particular focus in manufacturing contracts and intellectual property. Since qualifying in 2010 he has obtained a wealth of experience from a variety of previous roles, including acting as a consultant for companies listed on the CSE, the Sensex and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Chris Allen, Managing partner at Blacks Solicitors is thrilled to welcome the new starters and is proud of the firm’s continued growth. With the headcount rising from 159 in January 2015 to 184 in March 2017, the law firm continues to grow and maintain a high level of staff retention.
