Harrison Drury prepares for recruitment drive with newly expanded Preston HQ

North West law firm Harrison Drury is preparing to take on a raft of new employees after expanding its presence in Preston.

The firm, which is headquartered on Chapel Street, has leased the nearby Grade II-listed building 25b Winckley Square as it looks to recruit up to 60 new staff in the next five years.

John Chesworth, executive chairman of Harrison Drury, said: “Winckley Square has enjoyed significant investment and has attracted many new businesses to the area over the last couple of years.

“Taking on this grand Georgian building, in addition to our existing Winckley Square home, allows us to stay at the heart of the Preston’s professional services community.”

He added: “We have created a space that will make it possible for us to continue attracting the best legal talent.”

Harrison Drury, which last week announced the appointment of Gavin Wright as its new CEO, said it has carried out a significant refurbishment of the four-storey building.

25b Winckley Square has given the firm access to additional space for staff, including new meeting rooms and communal areas.

Further, Harrison Drury plans to set up wellness suite that includes a mini-gym, exercise space and shower facilities.
