Tech firm Brother UK invests £250k in showcase area at Tameside HQ
Tech firm Brother UK has invested six-figures into a new events and product showcase area at its Greater Manchester HQ.
The company has opened a £250k Solutions Showroom for customer and VIP meetings, as well as for product demonstrations and other events.
Brother UK said the investment enables it to offer visitors a more hands-on experience with its latest products and services, including its managed print services, labelling and mobile print solutions.
The showroom also boasts a boardroom and break-out areas, and will be made available as a Northern meeting hub for Brother customers based elsewhere in the UK.
The launch forms part of the firm’s Transform 2018 strategy, through which it is targeting revenue growth by moving towards contractual solutions and services.
Brother UK’s infrastructure and shared services director, Louise Marshall, said: “The new Solutions Showroom is our latest initiative in creating an inspiring environment for our employees, partners and customers.
“The revamping and reshaping of our workspaces in recent years has been a key part of the work we have done to transform and enhance our employer brand and attract and retain top talent.”
She continued: “The size of this latest investment is a further demonstration of our commitment to continuing to evolve the way we operate by moving towards tailored solutions and services as part of Transform 2018.”
As part of the strategy, Brother UK is also developing its approach to employee development and talent management to increase revenue per head.
The firm is headquartered in Audenshaw, Tameside, where it employs a team of 200.
