Darlington paraplanning firm Para-Sols doubles office space at Lingfield Point
Paraplanning company Para-Sols has expanded its footprint in Darlington as a result of a rising demand for its services.
The company doubled its office space by taking 2,500 sq ft at the Beehive building, Lingfield Point to accommodate three new graduates and further hires later this year.
Para-Sols, which has been based at Lingfield Point since 2012, plans to take on additional staff through recruitment exercises in July and September.
Cathi Harrison, Para-Sols’ founder, said: “It’s great to have moved into our new offices at Lingfield Point – and just in time for our eighth birthday too.
“The company is going through a period of dramatic growth at the moment and we’re all very ambitious with our plans for the future.”
She continued: “We’re in the lucky position where most of our work comes from referrals and word of mouth – and currently we actually have a waiting list of clients.
“We wanted to stay at Lingfield Point because it’s got great facilities, we’ve always been well looked after and Beehive is a nice creative area to be in.”
Para-Sols’ new office includes the ‘Para-Pub’, a social space for staff to unwind with a drink at the end of each week.
Cathi added: “We’re big on creating a good work/life balance, and the company’s culture is an important part of that.”
Lingfield Point estate manager Eddie Humphries commented: “It’s very inspiring to see a home-grown company like Para-Sols go from strength to strength.
“We put a lot of care and attention into ensuring our customers get exactly what they need, as well as providing first-class facilities – I think that’s why they stay with us as they grow.”
He added: “We’re proud to be a place where good business feels at home.”
