British jewellery brand, Azendi is showing its support for a local charity, by donating 10% of all takings over the York store’s birthday weekend to St Leonards Hospice.
With three stand alone stores in Yorkshire, Azendi opened its newest addition in York on 25th June 2016. To celebrate the store’s first year of trading, on Saturday 24th June and Sunday 25th June 10% of all takings will be donated to the charity. In addition to this, the store will be offering all customers 15% off full priced items, goodie bags to the first 50 customers and an in-store competition.
Lynsey Cooke, Chief Executive at Azendi said “The last year has been a whirlwind for our York team and we’re so pleased with the new store’s performance in the first year. We can’t thank our customers enough for their continued support. The anniversary weekend has been designed to be a thank you to our customers and our local community. We are delighted to be able to support St Leonards Hospice and the invaluable work it does in York.”
Annie Keogh, Corporate Fundraiser at St Leonards Hospice said “Huge congratulations to Azendi in York for their first year of trading in the city. We are very grateful they have chosen to support us as part of their birthday celebrations - the money raised will go towards supporting local people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. We wish them every success.”
