North West firm Portico Nursery Group expands with eighth site

A North West nursery group has expanded in the region with its eighth site.

Portico Nursery Group, led by sister and brother team Nicole Politis and Craig Jackson, secured a 6,416ft two-storey space at Mere Grange on Elton Head Road in St Helens.

The company will occupy Unit 106 on a 10-year lease.

Operating a portfolio of all-inclusive childcare facilities across Merseyside and Lancashire, Portico offers childcare spaces for all age groups along with before- and after-school clubs.

Nicole Politis said: “It’s been an excellent year for the group and we look forward to providing outstanding, flexible and affordable childcare for parents and children in St Helens.”

HRC Law, a nursery sector law specialist, advised Portico on the transaction.
