Profound Services and Start Energy create 40 new apprenticeship jobs

Start Energy based in Peterlee has recently partnered with training provider Profound Services to introduce 40 new apprenticeship jobs to the local area.

Based in Peterlee Business Park, Start Energy is an energy consultancy who works with businesses to provide a unique procurement service, additional energy and customer care services to UK businesses in the public and private sector.

The business introduced apprenticeships into their business in 2016 when Megan Bradley began her career as a Business Administration Apprentice and went on to win an ‘Unsung Hero Award’ at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) in June this year, along with achieving a promotion to Head of Administration.

After securing new business including one of the largest contracts in the industry, where the client has nearly one million customers on their base, Start Energy are recruiting to support their growth.

Seeing the success of apprentices urged the business to set up a larger apprenticeship recruitment scheme with training provider Profound Services to help ease the process of their new contracts.

The business will see 40 new apprentices this year working in Energy Consultant roles – perfect for those with a desire to succeed.
