Fylde startup M4B Ltd reveals plans for job creation and revenue growth

A Lancashire company that helps other businesses strengthen customer relations has revealed plans to create employment opportunities and achieve a six-figure turnover.

Fylde-based customer relationship management (CRM) services firm M4B Ltd intends to take on up to five new members of staff and grow sales to £300k during the next three years.

The company, unveiling the growth plans after receiving support from Boost Business Lancashire, was founded in 2015 by entrepreneurial duo Alex Askew and Gerry Gregoire.

Boost helped M4B’s founders access the Growth Support Programme delivered by coaching business Winning Pitch, which enabled Alex and Gerry to overhaul their business plan and set new growth targets.

Alex said: “We want to focus on winning further high-profile clients. The support we’ve received from the Growth Support Programme has given us the confidence and mindset to engage with these bigger corporate companies.”

M4B’s client portfolio now includes The Silver Line, a charity helpline for older people founded by TV’s Esther Rantzen, and Procurement Hub, part of property management and regeneration company Places for People.

He added: “After attending the workshops, we had a clearer approach to the business plan and our priorities. We were able to create a long-term vision for M4B.”

Boost, Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, is led by the Lancashire LEP and Lancashire County Council, supported with funding from the European Regional Development Fund.

Winning Pitch’s head of entrepreneurial solutions, Rona McFall, commented: “The support we’ve provided has helped Alex and Gerry hone their sales pitch and focus on selling the benefits of their products.

“It has also helped them focus on the financials and understanding pricing and margins. They are in much better shape to achieve the growth they desire.”
