Manchester-based Repairsbypost.com achieves new customer milestone

Online watch and jewellery repair business Repairsbypost.com has achieved a new customer milestone.

The Greater Manchester-based company this month passed the 10k registered customers mark, with more than 85% having their watches or jewellery repaired.

Repairsbypost.com’s managing director, Jonathan Goldstone, used to run the business from two physical stores in Ashton-under-Lyne and Altrincham, but eventually made the decision to bring the company online.

While the majority of the firm’s customers are in the UK, Jonathan said he plans to increase the website’s digital footprint to secure new business across Europe, Australia, the US and China.

He said: “Being a watch enthusiast myself, only the highest standard of work is acceptable.

“Whether a customer’s watch is a vintage Omega, an antique pocket watch, a modern Rolex, or jewellery is an heirloom or a new engagement ring, our standards remain high.”

Commenting on the company’s latest milestone, Jonathan said reaching it has been “a journey of blood sweat and tears” requiring “a mammoth investment and a slow return”.

He continued: “But we are delighted that we now know the industry better than anyone else and can manage customers and take them on a safe, reliable repair journey.”
