TmaxSoft names John Yun as new CTO
TmaxSoft, a global software innovator for cloud, infrastructure, and legacy modernization, today named John Yun as its Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his new position, Yun will guide TmaxSoft’s global technology agenda and accelerate the company’s global growth.
“We are excited that John will be adding his expertise, earned through a long history of technology and business development, to ours,” said Dr. Daeyeon Park, Founder of TmaxSoft. “His experience will undoubtedly lend itself to the unique challenges of helping organizations across the globe modernise their data structures.”
“John’s first order of business will be leading the organisations supporting TmaxSoft’s products in a global technical organisation,” said Joshua Yulish, CEO and President of TmaxSoft. “We’re putting a lot on his plate, but we have no doubt that he will be successful in this new role.”
Yun joins TmaxSoft from LG Electronics, where he previously served as Vice President of B2B Business Development. Yun’s prestigious career includes positions with many other notable tech companies, including Accenture, Oracle and PeopleSoft, during which time he acquired a broad range of technical competencies ranging from virtual reality to cloud services.
Yun earned his bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with Computer Science from the University of California, Berkley, and a master’s in Business Administration and Project Management from Boston University.
Yun will split his time between TmaxSoft’s Chicago and Korean offices, traveling to clients as necessary.
