New business Unicorn XP wants to reinvent London's agency model
Based in London, Unicorn XP has announced itself to the digital, creative and tech industries as a new model of innovation agency.
The founder, Pat Fahy, has spent years in the creative and technology industries, having launched Unicorn XP to challenge today’s traditional agency landscape – and is building a company with a blend of art and science that is data-driven and creatively led.
Unicorn XP focuses on bringing together leading thinkers from varied creative and technical disciplines, providing brand experiences, strategy, software, products and narratives.
Pat Fahy, founding partner, commented: “For us it’s about being a collaborative workshop with no agenda, all very fluid. A place where traditionally, separate skill-sets would sit apart – we come together and spark off each other, delivering unique creative and technical solutions for our clients.
“Our primary focus is on telling memorable stories about the genuinely useful and brilliant brands and products that our clients bring to the marketplace. This is what it’s all about – helping people discover brilliant, useful products and ideas.”
Founding clients include Limitless Coffee & Tea, a notable restaurant chain, and The People’s High Street, who were attracted to work with Unicorn XP by their new way of thinking. The company will help its clients reignite their industries using the latest technology.
Fahy has over 24 years of experience in the creative industries and has been immersed in the digital marketing space from its inception.
Spanning these past two decades, Pat has helped build agencies, such as Publicis Technology and Oasis Communications, while continuing to integrate digital offerings into global agencies such as Lowe Live.
The agency will be supported by the investment and expertise of Nazir Ulghani, a senior business leader and founder with more than 25 years of experience in multinationals and founding start-ups.
Ulghani added: “We live in a fascinating age where the confluence of ideas, technology and imagination has given rise to the rapid development of new paradigms – especially within the realms of AI, AR and VR.
“It’s what’s next that excites us. Fear of the unknown certainly drives us forward – it’s got to scare you a little, whatever you try to create. Then you know it’s working.”
Working in close partnership with Fahy will be Jason Glenister, too, who will be taking up the position of creative director. Also joining Unicorn XP as commercial director, with over two decades of commercial and financial experience in the IT industry, is Peter Stawowski.
Fahy concluded: “The agency world is changing as is the nature of the archetypal route to market agency. We want to have our say in the type of agency that exists in the future.
“By being curious and unafraid of failure, Unicorn XP hopes to be at the forefront of our industry for years to come. We want to be pioneers in creating physical and digital experiences and represent brands in a brave new way.”
