Head of Steam is coming to Didsbury
Pub brand Head of Steam is coming to Didsbury with a new venue on Wilmslow Road.
When it opens early next year, the pub will be North East-based owner Camerons Brewery’s 12th Head of Steam.
The company confirmed that its Didsbury site will offer the brand’s usual hefty mix of UK and world beers, with nine keg lines and a selection of rotating craft beers available along with eight cask ale lines.
Head of Steam’s food offering will incorporate a brunch menu and British pub classics like fish & chips, mac ‘n’ cheese and sausage & mash, with the focus being on fresh, local produce. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will be available.
As the drinks selection features American beers, the food menu will also include burgers and 12“ hot dogs.
Camerons Brewery chief exec Chris Soley said: “We have been looking at a number of venues across the North West and we identified the Manchester area as one of the key places we wanted to open a new site in.
“Didsbury is a very popular town and we feel our The Head of Steam venue will be another excellent addition to the fantastic range of bars and restaurants in the area”.
He added: “We are currently viewing a number of other potential sites across the UK as we look to continue our expansion of our retail pub estate.”
Head of Steam will open within the former Sanctuary bar unit in early February 2018.
