90-acre university centre estate in Doncaster hits the market
The former University Centre in High Melton is been launched to market with the potential for property reuse or land redevelopment for a variety of uses.
Located six miles to the west of Doncaster, the 90-acres estate is situated in the centre of an affluent village with road connections to Doncaster, Sheffield and Leeds.
The estate includes the Grade-II listed High Melton Hall alongside the 20,000 sq m built accommodation, which provides a variety of space including classrooms, conferencing and function space within the former stables block, student accommodation, commercial hotel, offices, nursery, and housing.
In addition, there is also car parking areas and 80 acres of woodland and a ‘footgolf’ course.
The site is suitable for a wide range uses, including housing, hotel and leisure, education, conferencing, business and science-related uses, with the scale and form of development subject to the relevant planning policies.
