Engineering firm SES sets out ‘commitment to the region’ in Manchester move
Engineering company SES Engineering Services has moved to a new base in Manchester.
The firm signed a 10-year lease on 5,800 sq ft at The Royals on Altrincham Road, where it carried out a re-fit to create a more contemporary, flexible working environment.
SES currently employs 100 people in the North West as part of its wider Northern operation, which has a combined turnover of £65m.
Steve Joyce, SES’ business director for the North, said: “This is an exciting phase in the ongoing development of SES in the North West as we continue to see increased demand for our design-led approach to provide bespoke mechanical and electrical services.
“To have all of our employees working on one level in such a contemporary environment is, in my opinion, more beneficial, as it fosters team spirit and allows people to share ideas and innovate, as well as interact socially in the breakout spaces.”
He added: “By signing a 10-year lease we are clearly setting out our commitment to the region and I look forward to building further on established relationships while at the same time winning new work in what I believe is a buoyant market.”
SES, today part of construction business Wates Group, launched in Manchester in 1999.
Earlier this year, the firm nabbed a £5m contract to work on Lancashire Constabulary’s new HQ in Blackpool.
