Female entrepreneurs behind Manchester’s Konductor establish content division
Business communications agency Konductor is marking its second anniversary with the launch of a content-marketing division.
The new arm, Kontent Engine, will provide written, creative and filmed commercial content for companies looking to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
Konductor is based in Manchester and works with clients such as fintech firm AccessPay, Open Banking and Virgin Media Business.
Director Katharine McNamara, who co-founded the company with Kate O’Brien, said: “Since Konductor launched in 2015, there has been a growing appreciation of the value that good content brings to business performance.
“With GDPR just six months away, the marketing landscape is also changing, with a growing number of businesses now switching to a content-led customer acquisition and engagement strategy, which is far more lucrative and reliable than purchased data.”
She continued: “More and more conversations are rooted in the commercial role that content plays, so the launch of Kontent Engine is a natural evolution and extension of our brand and service.”
