Intranet platform ‘helping businesses across Sweden’ set for UK launch
User experience (UX) agency Sigma is bringing a new intranet platform geared towards boosting workplace efficiency and collaboration to the UK.
The Macclesfield-based firm said Core, which represents an investment of £50k, is already performing strongly in Sweden where it first launched four years ago.
Sigma is today (November 16) making the platform available for organisations in the UK.
The aim of Core is to help simplify Microsoft’s SharePoint platform by providing a seamless overlay for users to easily interact with their colleagues on projects.
Sigma said that Core, which also works alongside Microsoft’s Office 365 suite, will improve on SharePoint’s day-to-day functionality.
Niklas Velander, the company’s lead consultant for the platform, said: “The benefits of SharePoint are well-documented, but we know that its steep learning curve has always been a key barrier to use.
“Rather than building a new intranet from scratch – which can be an extremely costly and time-consuming process – businesses can now utilise Core to create a user-friendly employee platform.”
He added: “Our expertise in UX means that the product is already helping businesses across Sweden to streamline their processes and become more productive. We are confident the same will be true in the UK.”
Sigma is launching the platform at this year’s Enterprise Digital summit, taking place at the British Academy.
