Liz Noli-Roberts, Amy Turk and Alex Frascina, Ewe

Leeds-based customer experience agency Ewe has announced three appointments.

Alex Frascina, the company’s new head of digital strategy, joined Ewe from Leeds-based Search Laboratory. He will be responsible for the agency’s digital content delivery, both for existing clients and new briefs.

Liz Noli-Roberts is Ewe’s new social media manager. She has client-side and agency experience across the healthcare and sportswear sectors.

Third newcomer Amy Turk was hired for the role of social media executive. Previously she worked for life coaching business Ducks in a Row.

Alex said: “It is an exciting time to join Ewe and to have the opportunity to create digital campaigns which reflect the agency’s ethos of delivering a strong customer experience and engagement within a multi-channel environment for client brands, products and services.”

Ewe client strategy director Steve Moncrieff commented: “It is great to have Alex, Liz and Amy on board to boost the team.

“They arrive as we experience business growth from existing and new clients who value our ability to integrate digital and social media campaigns with direct mail, advertising and email engagement strategies.”

Keith Madeley, Green Frog Genovate Ltd

Green Frog Genovate Ltd (GFG) has appointed Keith Madeley (above left) as an ambassador.

Working with GFG Keith, also known as Mr Yorkshire, will work to help the company raise its profile in the region.

Based in Leeds, the firm specialises in the engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance of mini power stations for commercial and industrial clients.

GFG managing director Alan Dempsey (pictured right) said: “We are both excited and delighted that Keith has agreed to become an ambassador for GF Genovate.

“We feel with his help that we can elevate the company’s profile within Universities, businesses, hospitals and schools across Yorkshire and the United Kingdom.”

Commenting on his appointment, Keith Madeley said: “I am delighted to be involved with GFG as it is the kind of company I want to help to benefit our county by bringing back manufacturing into the region and creating jobs within the local community.

“I am very excited about the prospects of working with Green Frog Genovate and their innovative business plans and assisting in moving the company forward to a prime position.”

Trudi Morton, Connor McLoughlin and Aiden Smith, Watson Buckle

Bradford accountancy firm Watson Buckle has added three new additions to its team.

The company took on two new trainees, Connor McLoughlin and Aiden Smith, as business services assistants.

Aiden is currently undertaking his Association of Accounting Technician’s (AAT) training. Connor recently completed his final AAT exams and is due to start his ACA training with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales early next year.

Watson Buckle has also appointed Trudi Morton (pictured) as its new payroll clerk. She will support the company’s payroll team by helping clients manage their payroll efficiently and cost-effectively.

Susan Sedgwick, the firm’s managing director, said: “I am delighted to be welcoming Aiden, Connor and Trudi to the team and I would like to wish them all the best going forward.

“I wholeheartedly believe that each of them will prove to be invaluable to Watson Buckle – and to our clients – going forward.”

Dominic Martin, Wendy Eastwood and Don Formhals, Walker Crips

York-based investment, pensions and wealth management business Walker Crips has made a trio of promotions.

The move saw Dominic MartinDominic Martin, , Wendy Eastwood and Don Formhals succeed the current interim head of the York office, Nigel Skelton, who is returning to his former role of senior investment portfolio manager.

Dominic has taken up the role of managing director of Walker Crips Wealth Management. Wendy Eastwood, meanwhile, is now managing director of Walker Crips Pensions. Both were previously directors in the areas of the business they now head up.

Don Formhals, former finance director in York, has been promoted to York group finance and operations Director.

Four promotions, DWF (Leeds)

Law firm DWF has announced four senior promotions at its Leeds office.

Infrastructure and projects lawyer Christian Hellmund is now a partner in the firm.

Insurance specialist Amanda Stipetic and costs specialist Lionel Marcus were promoted to director level.

Litigation lawyer Duraid Al-Musaied has been made a manager.

The executive partner at DWF in Leeds, Nic Crocker, said: “This is a well-deserved recognition of the achievements of Christian, Amanda, Lionel and Duraid who have demonstrated a huge amount of hard work and commitment.

“We place a strong focus on nurturing talent and believe in the importance of recognising the wide range of contributions that our people make to DWF.”

He added: “Each of them has made a really strong contribution to the development to the Leeds office and continues to deliver outstanding service to our clients across the region and far beyond.”
