Marketing agency with increasing North West foothold secures £600k in new business
PR and digital marketing agency BIG Partnership has recorded one of its best starts to a financial year after securing more than half a million pounds worth of new business.
The company, which has offices across Scotland and an operation in Manchester, landed over £600k in additional contracts between June and October.
BIG said the new business came from sectors such as food and drink, sport and energy, with assignments from transport firm First Group, ice cream brand Equi’s, decommissioning startup Well-Safe Solutions and European Tour during the Aberdeen Asset Scottish Open Golf.
The agency also expanded remits with existing clients, including training provider OPITO, housebuilder Stewart Milne Group, Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group and Scottish Rugby.
Seven hires were made between June and October, bringing BIG’s headcount to 102.
Zoe Ogilvie, director at BIG, said: “The last few months have been among the strongest in our history, with major wins across all our offices. In Aberdeen, we’re seeing the market gradually recovering and we are picking up some really great PR, digital and design projects.
“Meanwhile, we’ve gained a real foothold in the North West of England where our Manchester-based teams have been on a winning streak, securing a 12-month contract with architecture and building consultancy AHR and an appointment from the UK division of heating and renewable energy products manufacturer Stiebel Eltron, among others.”
She continued: “Our digital income is up 65% year-on-year and our integrated approach to digital, design and PR has led to a stream of marketing-led projects which have generated impressive results for clients. We recently embarked on a rebrand of our own to reflect this transition.”
