Six-figure funding to create jobs at Manchester-based Glaisyers Solicitors
Glaisyers Solicitors LLP is looking to unlock growth and create jobs with six-figure funding.
An £850k refinancing package, provided by NatWest, will give the Manchester-based law firm the flexible capital needed to attract new staff and develop its marketing, training and IT systems.
Founded in 1974, Glaisyers provides legal guidance for SMEs across the North West, Yorkshire, Midlands and London.
The company also offers services covering personal injury claims, wills and trusts, road traffic collisions and conveyancing.
Glaisyers currently has a turnover of £4.5m and employs over 60 people in the North West, with plans to increase its workforce by 10% in the next 12 months.
Nick Johnson, managing partner of Glaisyers Solicitors, said: “Established more than 40 years ago, we have grown through the strength of our reputation.
“We are now at a stage where we are ready to make a significant investment in our people and our operations and thanks to NatWest, we are in a position to put this investment into action.”
He continued: “The funding will allow us to achieve our objectives to attract new talent and support our staff in developing new business streams while supporting change so we can be more efficient in what we do.
“We see a real place in the market for a business of our size, setting ourselves ahead of the competition by going the extra mile for our commercial and legal clients.”
NatWest relationship director Nick Leeland commented: “We worked with Glaisyers to identify areas where we can be of mutual benefit, creating a fit for purpose funding package which will enable its growth aspirations.
“The deal provides a strong foundation not just for the Glaisyers, but for the continued working relationship between the bank and company.”
