Begbies Traynor Group plc launches new boutique advisory practice

Corporate recovery and professional services firm Begbies Traynor Group plc has this morning (December 5) announced the launch of a new business.

BTG Advisory is a boutique practice providing commercial, strategic and partner-led advice to businesses, investors and lenders in the UK and overseas.

The brand represents a consolidation of the Manchester-headquartered firm’s non-insolvency service offerings, including BTG Financial Consulting.

Operating from offices in Manchester, Leeds, London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Bristol, BTG Advisory will seek to bridge the gap between the group’s existing advisory and consultancy services.

BTG Advisory’s head of advisory, Mark Fry, said: “We are extremely excited to announce the launch of BTG Advisory today, bringing together a specialist team of experts offering boutique, partner-led advice across the full range of professional services, from corporate finance and financial consulting to litigation support, expert forensic consulting as well as restructuring and turnaround advice.

“As well as our established national network in the UK, we also have the capability to undertake significant international assignments through our global alliance, BTG Global Advisory, advising many leading banks, law firms, private equity and other funds, bankruptcy debtors, creditor committees and operating companies, across all continents and multiple offshore centres.”
