Revenue has soared 40 per cent for this senior recruitment specialist

Independent recruitment firm, Tindall Perry, has had a record year with its turnover rising by 40 per cent.

The business achieved revenues of £622k for the year to September 2017, the first time it has passed the £500k mark; considerably up on the £450k seen the previous year.

Established by managing director Leyla Tindall in 2010, the Manchester-based company is a boutique agency with two brands. One brand specialises in the placement of c-suite professionals, whereas its finance brand focuses on senior finance and accounting staff.

Leyla Tindall, managing director at Tindall Perry, commented: “This has been a breakthrough year for Tindall Perry, achieving record revenues and establishing ourselves as a key player in the North West senior recruitment market.

“In an industry often criticised for its lack of professionalism, I am passionate about offering a more enjoyable alternative, built on the strong relationships we create with both clients and candidates.”

In order to satisfy growing demand, Tindall Perry has also invested in its staff, tripling headcount in the last 12 months. This includes the appointments of directors Michael Avis and Dan Simmonite to lead its executive and finance brands, as well as Cath Priestley as candidate manager and Karen Smith as marketing and project manager.

With a target turnover of £1m in the next 18 months, the business is planning to increase headcount to four in the next year, alongside investing in the latest CRM and candidate sourcing technologies.

Tindall added: “We recognise that the recruitment industry is set to see a huge evolution in the coming years, and we have been working hard to ensure we are able to offer our clients and candidates the best possible service underpinned by the latest technology.”
