£1m has been invested into Manchester's BGF-backed High Access group
Manchester-headquartered High Access has invested £1m into expanding its fleet.
The investment follows the firm’s acquisition of truck-mounted platform business, AA Access, earlier this year. The acquisition further extended High Access’ range of high-level property services.
The deal saw the business gain ground in several new sectors including film, sport and music, working on events such as Glastonbury, the Queen’s Jubilee and The Open.
Adam Bethell, director of AA Access at High Access, said: “We continue to concentrate on becoming the UK’s most comprehensive and efficient high-level property service provider, retaining the values of the high level of service and our safety first mantra as we grow.
“The new machines will enable us to further enhance our offering, provide an even stronger, more comprehensive service to our customers and broaden our reach across the UK, with a more efficient service for clients regardless of where in the UK they are based.”
High Access also received an initial £3.3m investment from BGF in June 2016. The business has since fast-tracked its growth strategy, with the aforementioned acquisition of AA Access – part-funded by BGF – and the opening of a new depot in Slough to service the south.
The company has also invested heavily in its fleet and people, recently receiving the Investors in People accreditation.
High Access remains acquisitive, with a particular focus on bolstering its positioning within Birmingham, Leeds, Scotland and London.
