“There’s a brilliant mindset – everyone is on the same level. I think it’s a combination of youth, drive and passion that helped the company get where it is today, and I feel really fortunate to be in this position as we move onto the next stage of the journey.”
Andy Fitch, Parallax director, added: “Phil has already grown so naturally into his new role – we knew immediately we’d made a great decision asking him to lead the team.
“One of his best attributes is that he doesn’t repeat mistakes, and when you’ve been around as long as he has, that means almost flawless work every time, which is a dream.”

Emma added: “Demand for rental property is far outstripping supply in the areas that Leah will be operating in.
“We have a selection of rental properties on the market ranging in price from £625 to £3,000, but with so many tenants registered with us wanting to move, we are keen to find more homes to bring to the market, and that is something Leah will focus on straight away.”
Dacre, Son & Hartley offers landlords a ‘let only’ service through to a ‘fully managed’ service which includes sourcing tenants, compiling contracts, collection of rent and property inspections.
Ben Cussons, Splitpixel Creative
Splitpixel Creative has recruited Ben Cussons as head of business development.
He joins the Huddersfield-based agency from Stada Video, where he spent two years as a client liaison before moving to a business development role.
The appointment comes at the end of a year of growth for Splitpixel, following a move to larger premises and completion of the agency’s biggest project to date for employee benefit providers Sodexo.
Discussing the move, Ben said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to be able to play such a key role in what is a really exciting time for a growing company.
“Splitpixel are a small and dedicated team, and it’s a pleasure to be able to go out and share work that’s been created with such passion.”
Charlie Herke, co-founder and studio director, said: “Our approach as an agency has always been very hands-on – the team deals with our clients directly right from the very beginning of our relationship.
“But as we’ve grown, it’s become more and more important to have someone to oversee this process, and cast our eye out to opportunities across the whole of the UK.
“Ben joining the team has been long overdue, and we’re very happy to have him on board, spreading the word about what we do.”
