Potentia Safety Solutions Launch New Website

Potentia Safety Solutions are pleased to announce the launch of their new responsive website, which has been designed and developed to provide an optimal viewing experience across the widest range of devices from your desktop computer to mobile phones.

Based in Newcastle, Potentia is a safety consultancy and recruitment agency that has been providing HSEQ support services to organisations across the UK and Europe since 2008. The new responsive website has a cleaner, smarter design and the recent update is the first big overhaul since the company originally launched.

The website project was led by Managing Director, Tony Hawkins who said, “It has been almost ten years since we created our last website and we felt that it was beginning to look tired and unresponsive. The new responsive website has a cleaner, smarter design and is our first big overhaul since we originally launched in 2008. We wanted the new site to reflect the evolution of the business since that time and give visitors more insight into the type of projects that we’ve been involved in.

It is an exciting time for us at them moment and the launch of the new website is the first of a number of new developments, which will be announced next year“.

Use of mobile phones and tablets is increasing fast with almost 50% of visits to the Potenita website reportedly coming through handheld devices. The new website is fully responsive and was designed and developed by Jarrow-based Redman Design with mobile users in mind, ensuring that they have the best possible experience when viewing the website on smaller screens.

Chris Woodhouse of Redman Design said, “We effectively ‘reverse engineered’ the Potentia website, in respect of its need to home in on mobile phone and tablet usage. It is no secret these days that responsive web design is important, however we made it our priority. The site is clean, simple and easy to use, allowing for effective visual communication”.
