Recruitment firm expands in Manchester with second office
Recruitment consultancy Portfolio Group is expanding with a second office in Manchester.
The company will increase its footprint in the city centre later this month to better serve clients in the North and Midlands.
Danny Done, managing director of Portfolio Group, said: “We’re really excited for 2018, with so much development and evolution within our business we’ve got big plans and lots to look forward to.
“We’ve recently employed an internal recruiter, David Kirkham. He is managing and successfully recruiting staff into both offices across all our divisions, helping us to get an experienced and local team into our Manchester office quickly.”
As part of the expansion, Portfolio Group promoted senior managers Patrick Day and Gemma Creamer to associate directors. They have worked for the company since 2008 and 2012 respectively.
Portfolio director Anthony Macey commented: “Gemma and Patrick are cornerstones of the company and it makes us proud to have seen them work their way up to associate directors.
“Their experience and drive will undoubtedly continue to educate and inspire newer staff and push the company in a positive direction.”
Gemma said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be promoted to associate director. Since working here, I’ve seen big change and development and I’m hugely excited about the future growth of the executive division and Portfolio Group.
“To be a part of it all has been amazing and I’ve been lucky enough to see my career go from strength-to-strength.”
