Former colleagues from Manchester’s The Neighbourhood establish design studio
Three professionals who met at a recently closed creative studio in Manchester have established their own multidisciplinary design company.
Alastair Stewart, Alex Hillel and Mat Lucas teamed up to found Treble, following the closure of their former workplace The Neighbourhood.
With their new venture, the trio are aiming to offer clients a no-nonsense approach to their tech-led marketing campaigns.
Treble’s founders have already created a London campaign for female-focussed contraceptive business Hanx.
The work included a new animation that will run across digital screens on tube station escalators in Kings Cross and London Euston throughout February.
Treble has also been appointed to create a website that offers advice on music festival safety.
Alastair Stewart said: “Alex, Mat and myself met at The Neighbourhood and always worked really well together, we share the same ideas about work and what a client should expect from their creative partners so it made sense we started up on our own.
“Jon and Ben from The Neighbourhood have been very supportive and have given us some great advice about setting up. We are driven by making new technology work as hard as it can for our clients and focussing this in a way that makes a positive impact.”
Mat Lucas commented: “The three of us are passionate about remaining agile enough to work on projects we really feel strongly about. We are happy to use our creativity and digital expertise to boost these causes for the better.”
Alex Hillel said of the launch: “ We learnt a lot working at The Neighbourhood and developed our technical expertise. Digital technology is rapidly reshaping the creative industries and we look forward to working with bold clients who want to stand out in an increasingly saturated online space.“
