Financial services group Amicus launches commercial mortgage business
Financial services group Amicus Finance has established a commercial mortgage business.
The new arm will work with a specialist group of brokers to provide commercial mortgages across various SME sectors, property types and borrower risks.
Rob Lankey, who joined the company in May last year, is now managing director of Amicus Commercial Mortgages.
He will work alongside director of partner relationships David Stiff and a senior team with 100 years of commercial mortgage experience collectively.
While Amicus Finance is based in London and Manchester, the new business will operate out of Peterborough.
Rob said: “I’m delighted to be launching Amicus Commercial Mortgages. Having led and established commercial mortgage businesses for most of my career, and most recently being CEO of the NACFB, I understand better than anyone what it takes to run a successful commercial mortgage operation, working alongside high quality brokers.
“Our panel of brokers has been carefully chosen, representing years of close personal, trusted relationships and will be regularly reviewed and expanded with more high-quality brokers as needs dictate.”
He added: “Our objective is to make this new commercial mortgage business the best yet.”
