Self-storage entrepreneur launches Cheshire-based advisory firm

The former boss of a private equity-backed self-storage firm has launched a new company to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses.

Jon Wyles set up Exponential Advisers in Neston, Cheshire, to work with business owners as they build value by implementing successful growth strategies.

As the founder of Smart Storage, Jon grew the company to six North West sites before moving to Vancouver and starting up another storage firm, Stop and Store.

Jon is now working on expanding Exponential with an initial rollout across Cheshire, Merseyside, the Wirral and North Wales.

The firm’s core services cover operations, finance, marketing and people, although Jon expects to introduce further specialisms in the coming months.

Jon said: “During the past 12 years, both in the UK and North America, I have amassed a huge amount of knowledge and experience of developing and scaling businesses.

“Exponential is all about working with entrepreneurs to enable them to achieve their goals by putting in place the right strategies for accelerated growth.”

He added: “This is about ensuring the best possible structures and processes, robust financial management, cutting edge marketing and having the right people on board.”

Nick Mason, owner of North West PR and marketing firm Mason, is helping Jon increase awareness of Exponential in the North West.

Nick commented: “Jon and I have talked about setting up a business together for a number of years and Exponential instinctively felt like the right vehicle for us to do this.

“We look forward to partnering with business owners and helping them realise their own business and personal goals.”
