Trunk appoints Nathan Broadbent as Head of Creative Technology

Manchester-based content agency Trunk has appointed ex-Matmi director, Nathan Broadbent, to Head of Creative Technology, as the agency continues to expand its technical capabilities.

Nathan brings years of experience in games development, gamification and mobile app development to the Ancoats-based agency, and counts Playstation, Alton Towers and Barclays as previous clients.

He has also been working at the forefront of the most advanced emerging technologies including; augmented reality, virtual reality and immersive experiences, iBeacons, near field communication (NFC) protocols and radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology.

Adam Britton, managing director of Trunk, said: “We’re working in such a fast-paced environment, it’s crucial that our technical competency is always one step ahead. The capability of our personal devices changes on a daily basis, bringing new and innovative ways to engage customers.

“Nathan’s appointment allows us to cement our technical offering and his vast experience will add strength to our skills in this area.”

Nathan’s appointment to Trunk comes at the same time the company came highly commended in the ‘Small Agency of the Year’ category at the exclusive Northern Digital Awards 2018.
